If you think it sounds like something from the Zelda series, then you’re not alone. This is actually the third installment of a game called Ocarina of Time. Since we have had plenty of coverage of the previous games in this series (and there have been three if you count Wind Waker), I thought it might be interesting to discuss what does Depth Strider do that makes it unique.

Basically, it means you can enchant an armor using up to four items that are part of a set: When being used by Link (aside from the Hero Link costume), this enables the combination of up to six enchanted armor on Link. When using the underwater camera in the game, a Link can change between his normal state and underwater state by pressing the Z button while wearing the Depth Strider. Also, a Link who uses a weapon’s cane while underwater can attack using an electric weapon while he is underwater.

In addition to these enchanted items: another feature that makes this game really fun to play is the striker enchantment. Using this enchantment will allow Link to travel up to three times faster while underwater. He will also be given the ability to stay underwater for a much longer time. While Link is not allowed to jump while using this form of striding, he can still move at a very high speed. The underwater camera will not pan around as Link is swimming but it will zoom in on Link as he is swimming. When playing with the highest level of the game, you can reach up to a maximum speed of 24 mph.

If you were wondering how the heck: you would go about playing the game without using an enchanted equipment, you will need to use some underwater items that will help you out when playing. These underwater items include the tridents enchanted with the element of air. Tridents enchanted with air will allow Link to glide through the water much more smoothly. You will also need to wear an air glove to help you along the way as well.

Another way to get around using the trident enchantment is by using the magical underwater item called the Master Sword. This allows you to move at a much higher speed while you are underwater. To get around using the Master Sword, you will need to kill a lot of enemies so make sure that you have plenty of hearts available to replenish your magic powers when you need to activate the Master Sword.

You can also use the flying boots to keep: yourself from suffering from the movement penalty while you are underwater. The boots will allow you to move at a very high speed and with some luck, you might even be able to reach the final boss. Just make sure that the enemy that you fight is not surrounded by many other enemies as that will cause the resonance enchantment to fail.

The resonators, which are found on all the underwater temples, cannot be repaired so you might have to walk to the final temple and fight there until you have to leave the area and then come back to fight again.
